DB Agent service

Hi,

I've doubt with agent service start/stop.

I stopped the AppDynamics Database Agent service in the server and verified in controller UI whether the data reporting halted, but it still reports data like service is ON.

I face the same issue with the .net app agent service. I stopped the APPD services and tried to validate it for alerting purposes (whether it throws alert for configured "APPD Agent availability" health rule), but it does not get halted, the same way it reports data.

Could someone please advise on this.

I was also facing the same error with .NET agent, I tried disabling the agent service and it worked.
