I'm having problems with the hardware metrics collection. I've try without Enabling Hardware Monitoring since it is not necessary for Microsoft SQL Server (that's what it say) and also filling the information. If I fill the Hardware Monitor part I get the error "Error=800706BA The RPC server is unavailable. SWbemLocator".

If I don't check the Monitor Operating System I don't see any error on the log but still don't get the Hardware stats

I already configure the User permisions like indicated on https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/ADDB/WMI+Permissions+and+Security still get
Error=800706BA The RPC server is unavailable. SWbemLocator

on the Log when I check the "Monitor Operating System" option.

Does any one had the same problem and know how to fix it?

Here is an article on how to set up WMI security permissions for the agent to collect hardware data. I guess the agent used WMI to probe the SQL server for hardware metrics.

https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/ADDB/WMI+Permissions+and+Security
