Hi,

Is there a way we can create Analytics agent scope for all the nodes within the Application tier. Since, our Analytics agents are AWS Ec2 instances and their hostnames and IP addressess are always vary and we do not have any standard naming convention.

Instead of selecting the nodes by defining a matching pattern, can we able to select all the nodes using Tier Level?

Hi Bibi,

There is a way to have Dynamic Agent scope which satisfies the matching condition:

https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO44/Agent+Scopes+for+Configuration+Log+Management#AgentScopesforConfigurationLogManagement-DynamicAgentScopes

Let us know for any further queries.

Regards,

Deepanshu
