Export / Import Data Collector Configuration using REST API

Is there a way to export and then import the configuration of a Method Invocation Data Collector from one controller to another? I've been able to do this via REST API for transaction detection, but I don't see anything in the docs for datacollectors.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Not straightforward.

But you can go to application and do the following.

Select your applicaiton and click on export
Open the exported xml in an xml editor.
Remove All subnodes under application except data-gatherer-configs. See screenshot.
Save and import the config into an existing application

For testing, import back into the same application and check.
