Is there any option in AppDynamics (SaaS)where i can configure to get the daily / Weekly/Monthly license usage report by email .

The query was how i can get license usage report by email on a daily or weekly basis.

I didn't seen any option like the same . If emailing report not possible, any other ways we can download the report (Eg: Using API)

As of now, it does not look like we have any functionality to send such details as a report. However, please check if the below helps-

1. You can view the license usage on the controller as per the below documentation.

2. You can also use our REST APIs to get the details of the usage of the licenses. Please refer to the below article.

Thanks all for the reply. Got an update from AppDynamics Support as well that currently the tool doesn't have the requested functionality of license reporting. So suggested to put on Idea exchange.

Hi Raj

I can provide you with a python script which does the extract for you and emails it per License Rule. We use it to get a weekly summary.

Please note this only applies to the usage you see on the License Rule page, does not include EUM, Analytics etc. But should be easy to amend the script to add that in
