&lt;P&gt;The use case you are describing would be well addressed by AppDynamics Log Analytics. If you don't have / know this module, you should talk to your AppD sales team in your region.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can also use this free extension here&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.appdynamics.com/community/exchange/extension/log-monitoring-extension/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;https://www.appdynamics.com/community/exchange/extension/log-monitoring-extension/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But it will only help you to create a metric representing&amp;nbsp;the number of occurences of your keyword&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello All,&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I am new to AppDynamics. I have task to create dashbaord based on log file placed in a server.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;My dashbaord should search for particular key words(error, failure, timeout, etc.) present in a log file and if it find key word then it should display in the dashbaord.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Could you please suggest me how can i build it.&lt;/P&gt;
