Let us assume that I have a production application that is currently being monitored.

To deregister the application from being monitored you want me to stop my production application. Are you really serious?

You really want me to stop my whole server.

This will not work in many cases, please update your solution guys, try to find a more convinient solution.

Hi Nagendra,

If you do not want to monitor webapps/Business transactions metrics but want to achieve without restarting application and removing jvm argument -javaagent , you can do this by disabling agent as stated in docs link from node dashboard -> Agents section by click "on/off" button but this will still monitor jvm heap stats but not BT stats, see if that information helps.

We understood that you do not want to remove agent as stated in docs https://docs.appdynamics.com/display/PRO39/Uninstall+the+Java+Agent .
