Find Out the HTTP Calls Going Out

I have Configured 4 Virtauls ( Linux ) with app dynamics . Now i want to find out what are the Http Calls Going out from the Virtuals .

My Tier was actually making Http calls to another Tier , which we never implemented in our code.the calls are HTTP and in all the 4 virtuals having same code , only one is making this http calls to another tier , the other 3 are fine.

so i want to find out the http calls being made from that virtuals.Is there any Way to do that and also can i find what url was been hit ( in the HTTP call)?

Hi Jagadesh,

1. In the left navigation pane of the associated application , select Servers -> Remote Services.

2. From the Remote Services List , you should see HTTP Backends discovered

3. Now double on the discovered HTTP Backend, in the backend dashboard screen you should see the URL, and other property details in the right pane

also you can also should be able to see URL and backend name details in reuqest snapshot of the BT that makes HTTP calls -> call graph -> Exit calls section-> click HTTP backend

Hi ,

I Could not see the Servers , Iam attaching a Screen shot of the Left Navigation in my app Dynamics Screen.

Please Suggest me on how to proceed

Hi Jagadesh,

Can you scroll further down to reach end of the tiers listed , as we see that tiers are listed till the end of the page and the screen shows that we can further scroll down, you should see the menu "Backends" option after you collapse "Monitor" -> "Application Infrastructure" menu as reffered in attached screenshot

Still i Dont see the Option , Seems like we need to install a Machine agent if we need to find out the Http Calls Going.

I can see the "Monitor" -> "Application Infrastructure" -> "Tier Name" > "Nodes"

I cant go any further from here.

Hi Jagadesh,

Sorry for the confusion, Use the scroll bar highlighted to navigate down or collapse "Application infrastructure" button so that you will see the menu option "Backends" (refer attached screen)

You do not need to navigate to any node dashboard(i am not referring tier -> node navigation,
i am referring to "Backends" screen after Application infrastructure section

Can you Click "Application dashboard" option under Monitor section and check whether "HTTP" backend exit call displayed in the dashboard view, now double click on the backend in view you should be redirected to backend dashboard.

Please let us know how it goes
