<title>topic Splunk DB Connect Roles in Security</title>
    <link>https://community.splunk.com/t5/Security/Splunk-DB-Connect-Roles/m-p/400246#M9692</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;I was wondering if it is possible to have a dashboard with queries that use DB Connect but do not allow certain user roles to access db connect directly to make their own custom queries. Essentially there's information that I want to provide normal users without them being able to touch the DB. Any insight on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
