    <description>&lt;P&gt;You can move &lt;CODE&gt;$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/passwd&lt;/CODE&gt; elsewhere, that will enable the default password for your admin account. Might mess with other local users though, so you'll want to move the relevant entries back into the new file afterwards.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
