Can't download splunk enterprise Security

Hi,

When trying to download the enterprise security app, I'm getting the following comment:

"This app restricts downloads to a defined list of users. Your user profile was not found in the list of authorized users..."

What can I do to download it?

Hi @eilonh,

you can download the Enterprise Security App only if you are the referral people of a License (in this case, you should have received a link to download the Premium App) or the referral people for a NFR License, that Splunk gives only to recognized Partners.

If you want to see this app, you can access the Splunk Show (https://show.splunk.com/login/?redirect=/) and have a demo environment.

Basically you must be a paid customer for ES and named as contact person for downloading license or as @gcusello said you must be a splunk partner with assosiate (or higher) level and have fulfil NFR license requirements to get it.
The last option could be that you ask it for PoC from Splunk/Splunk partner, but as it's quite complicated to set up correctly, it's better to ask that Splunk partner will do it to you.
Also show.splunk.com need to be a partner to get access into it.

The Enterprise Security(ES) is a Premium App and there is no trial version or free download version available.

the other idea is as said on the previous reply.. you should contact Splunk Sales team and they should provide you the ES for a POC purpose.
