Are you using Splunk Free license (no login required) OR Splunk Trial license (valid for certain days but support login/authentication)?

We are doing a POC on pushing the files from the server to Splunk. For that, we have installed Splunk with free trial version. After installation, we get to notice that we did not have username and password for logging the Splunk web as it is Free trial version.

Because of which we are facing issue while connecting to Splunk from third parties where they will expect username and password as well while hitting to Splunk.

Can we update the license details? any word around in this approach could help us.

The free Splunk trial license has full enterprise features including login. Your free license most likely lapsed into the free post-30 day version which doesn't include secured login. You should re-download the file and apply and you will get a new 30 days.

Since you're using this as a customer facing app, you should strongly consider contacting your local Splunk rep and get a trial version so you have longer than 30 days
