Mimecast for Splunk v2: powershell error when setting up the app

I am trying to setup Splunk for Mimecast using the Addon. Following the directions here https://community.mimecast.com/docs/DOC-2142#jive_content_id_Installation_and_Configuration I get stuck at the login process. When I run the login command it comes back with blank key and a powershell error
