topic Authenticate splunk web endpoint in Security

Hi All,

I'm developing an application that exposes a rest endpoint. Besides that, I exposed this endpoint in splunk web (via app web.conf). I can access the endpoint in 8089 port using basic or token authentication but I can't find a way to authenticate the exposed endpoint in splunk web (the 8000 port). I have a js client that will call this endpoint and I don't want to expose 8089 port (this port isn't even available in splunk cloud). Is it possible?
